| There was always art of some sort occurring around me as I grew up, from
the graffiti wall in the bathroom to mum and her oil paints. I suppose
an enjoyment of art was inevitable, though it is a party I have arrived
at late. Now, in my twenties I have started to paint. I chose water colours for one simple reason, that none of the other geniuses in my
family use them, giving me the freedom to learn on my own. I love it.
Maybe one day I'll have the guts to put some of
my own stuff up here too.

Since opening my original site, using some of my favorite pictures, many
people have approached me wanting to know who the artists are and more
about their work. This section is to do just that, and to hopefully
discover a whole lot of new artists that I will enjoy also. So check out
the galleries and browse through some stunning work by people a whole lot
more talented than I'll ever be. Some are amateur artists you may not of
heard of whose work I stumbled upon during trips around Elfwood,
others are old masters and artists making a living from their work.
Where possible I've linked to their official sites.
Note: As far as I have been able I've
credited the artists, however there are huge numbers of pictures that I
have been unable to track down. If anyone has information about any
picture or artist here that is not receiving the credit they so richly
        deserve please email me
and I'll rectify that. Disclaimer: The artists retain
copyright for their own work and no permission is grated for these
pictures to be reproduced. In displaying these pictures I mean no breach
of copyright or offence to the artists. I will remove any object deemed
to be in violation upon request or give full and proper credit. One last thing: I've had to use a
server with pop-up ads for this part of the site, for this I apologize
if it spoils the pages ahead but with so much content I had to take
whatever free webspace was available. So here's a trick. If you disable
scripting in your browser's options (in MS Internet Explorer it's in the
security > custom menu...not too sure about Netscape and other
browsers but I'm sure if you look around you'll find it) this will
totally banish pop-ups from these pages. I hope you'll enjoy your stay
and come back often as I'll be adding things all the time.
         Blithe.
